Tooth Decay
Tooth decay is commonly known as a ‘Cavity’ when it has become significant and requires dental correction. Prior to becoming a big problem, it may be something as small as a discoloration or surface irregularity. With proper home care, the progress of tooth decay can be slowed or stopped. In some cases the decay is not visible, but can be between teeth or below the gum line – in these cases it will likely be found in regular dental x-rays.
