With Dr. Larsen’s skills, training and artistry you will smile, speak and eat with ease.

Dr. Larsen offers restorative procedures such as:

Health of Your Gums

Gum disease can result in the loss of teeth and a patient’s ability to smile and eat confidently. Untreated, gum disease is also associated with many medical conditions. A simple exam can find the early signs and allow treatment to eliminate the infection. As part of a comprehensive exam Dr. Larsen will diagnose the signs and symptoms of gum disease. Our office is ready to provide treatment to return your mouth to health. An attractive smile is about the teeth and the appearance of the gum tissue.

Dr. Larsen offers periodontal procedures such as:

• Laser Treatment

• Periodontal Therapy

Plaque & Calculus buildup on your teeth are the target of our Dental Hygiene team:

Plaque and Calculus (Tartar) are the buildup of materials on the external surface of the teeth. Plaque is the soft material that can typically be removed by brushing & flossing. Calculus occurs when the Plaque is hardened and cannot be removed by simple brushing; a Dental Hygiene appointment is required to remove this hard buildup.

Left untreated, this buildup results in the gum infection known as Gingivitis

Gingivitis is caused by a buildup of tartar and plaque that occurs under the gum line. Although daily brushing may control the visible buildup on the visible portion of the tooth, below the gum-line there will be bacteria and other materials that will irritate and infect the gums. Regular flossing will help control this buildup, but only a thorough hygiene appointment with your dentist will be able to thoroughly clean these surfaces. Uncontrolled gingivitis infection can lead to bone loss and eventual tooth loss.
